New ISPM irradiation treatment published

In April 2023, the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) published a new phytosanitary treatment using irradiation in the form of annexes to ISPM 28:

PT 45: Irradiation treatment for Pseudococcus jackbeardsley
ISPM 28: Annex 45 (2023)

This treatment describes the irradiation of fruits, vegetables and ornamental plants at a minimum dose of 166 Gy to prevent development of F1 second-instar nymphs from mature adult females of the mealybug Pseudococcus jackbeardsleyi at the stated efficacy.
