Record PI volumes for Mexico in 2022

The 2022 exports of fresh irradiated produce from Mexico grew by more than 20% over the previous year, reaching a total of 42,306 tons. Mexico thus strengthened its position of largest PI user in the world.

The growth mainly comes from mangoes and oranges.
