Comments on draft revision of ISPM 18

The process to revise the International Standard for Phytosanitary Measure ISPM 18 Requirements for the use of irradiation as a phytosanitary measure has been initiated. The first consultation on the revised draft has open on 1 July,2021 and will last until 30 September 2021. Once the Standards Committee (SC) approves the draft ISPM for the first consultation, the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat makes it publicly available and solicits comments through the IPPC Online Comment System (OCS) from contracting parties, RPPOs, national plant protection services of non-CPs, relevant international organizations and other entities as decided by the Standard Committee.
